How to Access

To access the schema.org system plugin, go to System > Plugins. Search for "schema".

What is it For

To set the Base Type information schema. The Organization base type is for schools, NGOs, corporation, not-for-profit organizations, club, etc. The Person base type is defining a person, like a blogger for example if the site is a personal blog. This helps search engines better understand and display information.  

This gives the search engines information like:

• Organization Name
• Person Name (if base type Person you can select a Joomla User)
• Logo
• Social Media Accounts

The Generic Field section is only to define custom properties that is not defined in the default form.
