Contacts

The Contacts feature in Joomla allows you to create and manage contact information for individuals, teams, or departments. Each contact entry can include details such as names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and even links to websites or profiles. This makes it easy for site visitors to reach the right person or group directly.

Contacts can also be organized into categories, which is especially useful for larger organizations with multiple departments or contact points. Joomla provides flexibility in how these contacts are displayed, and you can use overrides to adapt layouts to match your site’s design.

This section covers the following topics:

  • Contacts – Learn how to create and manage individual contact entries. This includes filling out essential details, linking contacts to users, and choosing how the information will be displayed to visitors.

  • Category List Override – Customize how contact categories appear on your site using layout overrides. This lets you adjust the presentation of contact lists to better fit your site’s design and user experience.
